Dawn Kennedy Clark
A big Hi to all from the balmy prairies!
As I write this, I am looking out my window and see snow drifts and trees fallen over from the spring storm we had on the weekend here in southern Saskatchewan. I thank God I live in such an interesting part of the world.
I married my high school sweetheart, Robert Clark, and we moved to the farm in 1971. We have two awesome sons and they both farm with us. Rob lives next door and Rick lives in Vancouver, BC. Neither son has children so I go around adopting kids when I see someone who needs a gramma. I now have 7 “grandkids”!
We just sold our ranch last year so now we have a life! We still grain farm though. I earned a certificate in Interior Design and Janice (Melenchuk) Bell and I had a business together. Then I enjoyed owning a quilt shop for 8 years.
Now I love to quilt and babysit.
I want to send out a big thank you to Janice for being so committed to our class. I’m sure when she signed on she never dreamed it would be for life. I want to say how much I love and respect her for her strength and courage. I’m so proud to call her my friend.
