Lacombe, Alberta wasn’t just the place I attended school–it was my home. My wonderful parents realized a need for Christian education so we moved to Lacombe in 1960. Thank you Mom & Dad! It’s because of you that I can celebrate this milestone.
My years at CUC have provided wonderful memories and lifelong friends that I absolutely cherish.
After graduation, I moved to Calgary and within a few years began work at Foothills Medical Center where I worked as a unit clerk in CVT surgery. Little did I know at the time that those Dr’s orders that I processed every day, would serve me well in the future. Last March (2018), my dear husband underwent quadruple bypass surgery in Mesa AZ. (He’s doing great!!)
That brings me to Lee! I met him when I was about 12 years old and became his wife at 47 years old! I’ve heard the phrase “the best is yet to come”. Well, I already have the best. Thank you Lee.
Shortly after we married, we moved to BC where Lee served as a pastor for the conference. In 2013, we decided to move to Lacombe where we could enjoy being close to family. We are blessed with 3 children, their spouses, and 5 grandchildren.
I thank God every day for the special people in my life.
