Linda Polishuk Spencer

I married Gerald Teron in 1971 and we had two children. But unfortunately we got divorced in 1980.

My son, Marcel, lives in Lincoln City, Oregon. My daughter, Christina lives in Murray, Utah with her husband Ray. I have a twenty-one year old granddaughter, Ashley.

In 1987, I married Monte Spencer, but we have been separated since 1993.

Since graduating, I have lived in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Oregon. My first job was being a ward aid in a Kelowna Hospital. From 1988-1991 I helped run Spencer Adult Care, caring for the elderly in five different homes. I have worked as a waitress at Swain’s Juniper Lodge near Lacombe and at a Calgary Food Court with a Russian lady where we made thousands of cabbage rolls and perogies. I have done extensive prep work for the C.H.I.P. Program. I have also had cleaning jobs for doctors and in clinics, and I have worked at Camp Hope cleaning rooms in the lodge. I received a diploma in gardening in 2002 and enjoy working with plants and gardening.

I have volunteered in kindergarten Sabbath School for about thirteen years-teaching lessons, playing the piano, and preparing and doing crafts. I enjoy collecting spoons, key chains, fridge magnets, and wind chimes.

I have had a few bad experiences in life-I almost lost my daughter in the Pacific Ocean, and I was involved in a bad bus accident and saw the bus burn to the ground after we all got off. I am thankful that God is watching over me.

I am presently retired and am living in Lacombe. In retirement, I enjoy sewing, knitting, cooking, gardening, walking, and riding my bike.
